Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 300 of 2020 registered for the offences under Sections 302, 364, 201, 420, 406 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail was rejected vide order dated 23.03.2021 passed in Cr. Misc No. 33973 of 2020. Further submission is that petitioner is a woman and has no criminal antecedent.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State opposes the prayer of bail and submits that vide order dated 23.03.2021 passed in Cr. Misc No. 33973 of 2020

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62176 of 2021(8) dt.08-02-2023 2/2 application for grant of anticipatory bail was rejected on merit and now there is no fresh ground for reconsideration of her prayer for grant of anticipatory bail. He therefore, submits that petitioner does not deserve to be enlarged on anticipatory bail. Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Her prayer for bail is accordingly rejected.
