The petitioner being husband of the victim is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant after five years of marriage.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that as the petitioner performed love marriage with the victim, hence there is no question of demand of dowry. Considering the thrust of accusation against the petitioner being husband of the victim, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24340 of 2016 (2) dt.31-05-2016 2/2 Let the learned Court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner without being prejudice of this order, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with Maharajganj P.S. Case No. 82 of 2015, pending before the C.J.M. Siwan.

With the above observation, this application is, accordingly, disposed off.
