2. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bakhri P.S Case No. 113 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 118 (2) of the BNS and under Section 124 of BNS added later on.

3. As per prosecution case, some unknown persons entered into the house of the informant and poured acid on his daughter.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that police have taken statement of victim also, in which she has stated that neither she have any doubt on anyone

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52487 of 2025(3) dt.15-10-2025 2/2 nor she is having affair with anyone. Thereafter, police searched some CCTV footage and arrested one Mahboob Alam. It is further submitted that in CCTV footage petitioner was not seen. It is also submitted that petitioner is in judicial custody since 07.04.2025.

5. However, learned APP for the State oppose the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. On perusal of the FIR, impugned order and materials available on record, it appears that petitioner was not seen in the CCTV footage for the alleged acid attack on victim. Thereafter, police searched some CCTV footage and arrested one Mahboob Alam.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Begusarai in connection with Bakhri P.S Case No. 113 of 2025.
