2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Maner P.S. Case No. 74 of 2025, registered under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 109, 308(4), 352, 351(2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, read with Section 37 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The prosecution case, in short, is that, the petitioner along with other co-accused persons went to the house of the informant and assaulted the informant and his brother due to which they sustained injuries on their head. It is further alleged that co-accused persons demanded rangdari of Rs. 4,00,000/- from the informant ten days prior to the incident and the accused persons found to be under the influence of liqour.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49498 of 2025(2) dt.18-07-2025 2/2 present case. Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the allegation levelled against the petitioner is general and omnibus in nature. Specific allegation of demanding extortion and consuming liquor is against co-accused persons. It is further submitted that the allegation levelled against the petitioner is of assaulting the informant and his brother but the injuries sustained by them are simple in nature. The petitioner has got two criminal antecedents.
5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Maner P.S. Case No. 74 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Rudra Prakash Mishra, J) Rajorshi/- U T
