The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No. 140 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 and 22 of the Arms Act.

One country made pistol and three live cartridges have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that two cases were lodged for the same occurrence, the other one being Amarpur. P.S. Case No. 139/2021 under Section 395/412 of the Indian Penal

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51713 of 2022(2) dt.22-12-2022 2/2 Code.

Though, the petitioner was earlier made accused in other cases, reference of which, has been given in paragraph -3 of the bail petition but in all such cases, he is on bail.

The petitioner in this case is in custody since 20.03.2021.

Regard being had to the afore-stated facts and the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate /Successor Court, Banka, in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No. 140 of 2021.
