The petitioner seeks bail in connection with NDPS Case No. 18 of 2022, arising out of Kumarkhand P.S. Case No. 148 of 2022 dated 23.04.2022 instituted for the offence under Section 18, 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drusgs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 700 gms. Ganja is said to have been recovered from the house of the petitioner.

The petitioner is in custody since 24.04.2022. The petitioner earlier was made accused in a case which was registered in the year 1988, in which he is on bail.

Regard being had to the fact that less than small quantity of narcotics has been recovered from his house and the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-III, Madhepura in connection with NDPS Case No. 18 of 2022, arising out of Kumarkhand P.S. Case No. 148 of 2022.
