2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 448 and 365 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. It is alleged that the husband of the informant was kidnapped by the petitioner and other accused persons. It is further alleged that the victim was assaulted and left in the jungle.

4. In view of the fact that petitioner has come for anticipatory bail in a case lodged in connection with Barachatti P. S. Case No. 73 of 2014 registered on 20.02.2014, it appears that petitioner has no apprehension of arrest. There is no explanation as to why the petitioner took more than 9 years to
