The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kazi Muhammadpur P.S. Case No. 477 of 2014 registered under Section-379 of the Indian Penal Code and Section-42 of Indian Forest Act.

Admittedly, the petitioner was working as stenographer to the Commissioner; Muzaffarpur at the relevant time and the then Commissioner, Muzaffarpur had directed the officials of forest department to remove some trees from his residential premises. It is alleged that forest officials, in connivance with the petitioner, cut and removed some more trees.

No.3666 of 2015 (2) dt.28-01-2015 2/2 Considering the above-said facts and circumstances as well as submission of the parties, this anticipatory bail petition is allowed and it is ordered that in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below within four weeks from today, the petitioner, named-above, shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Kazi Muhammadpur P.S. Case No. 477 of 2014 to the satisfaction of Assistant Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur subject to conditions as laid down u/S 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
