1. In compliance to the earlier order of this Court dated 13.10.2023, show cause has been filed today in the Court itself, which has been taken on record, wherein it has been stated that the Chancellor has appointed his nominee as also the State Government has appointed its member. It is thus submitted that the process of promotion has been initiated and the same shall be positively concluded, within a period of three months from today. It is directed accordingly.

2. It is needless to state that in case the aforesaid process for grant of promotion to the petitioner is not completed, within a period of three months from today, the Vice Chancellor, Magadh University and the Chief Secretary to the Government of Bihar, Patna shall not draw their salaries.

3. The present petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
