The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The father of the informant alleged that his daughter was married with the petitioner in the year 2010. The petitioner and his parents were demanding different articles in additional dowry and tortured the deceased. The informant got information that his daughter was burnt by her husband and in-laws. The informant further stated that when he reached at Bhagalpur Medical College Hospital, his daughter disclosed that her husband and in-laws poured kerosene oil and burnt her. It is submitted that the deceased got accidental fire
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30937 of 2014 (3) dt.21-12-2015 2/2 while boiling milk. The petitioner also got burn injury while he was trying to put off fire. The statement of the victim was also recorded by the ASP.
It appears that the petitioner is the husband and there is very specific allegation against the petitioner that he killed his wife by burning her. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
