Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 22.9.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.40831 of 2017.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that up-till-now only five witnesses have been examined in this case and the petitioner is in custody for one year. Earlier his prayer for bail was rejected on merit. The petitioner is the husband. Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and if possible conduct it on regular basis.
