The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Singhiya P.S. Case No. 226 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. As per the prosecution case, the name of the petitioner has come on the basis of suspicion in the recovery of about 560 litres of illicit liquor.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is incarceration since 08.06.2023. Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52275 of 2023(2) dt.23-08-2023 2/2 two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Judge, Excise-I, Samastipur in connection with Singhiya P.S. Case No. 226 of 2022. The petitioner will visit Singhiya Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
