JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction to set aside the order of dismissal passed by S.P., Khagaria by Khagaria District order no. 807/2007 (Annexure-2) and order of D.I.G. of Police, Munger Range, Munger dated 22.04.2009 (Annexure-3) by which appeal of the petitioner has been rejected, and for grant of all consequential benefits."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna to dispose

Patna High Court CWJC No.18195 of 2021(2) dt.21-02-2024 2/2 off the memorial filed by the petitioner on 04.06.2020.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case the aforesaid memorial filed by the petitioner has yet not stood disposed off, the same would definitely be disposed off within a stipulated time frame, as directed by this Court.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna to dispose off the aforesaid memorial filed by the petitioner, in case the same has actually been filed and has yet not been disposed off, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
