The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47A of the Bihar Excise Act.

The Chaukidar alleged that the petitioner along with her son was selling liquor and, on raid, bottles of beer, foreign liquor and 65 pouches of country-made liquor were recovered. It is submitted that the petitioner is a lady. Her son was selling the liquor. The son of the petitioner has also been made accused in the case. The petitioner is living separately and she has no manner of concern with the business of her son Ramprit Das. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner is a lady, the above named petitioner, in the event of her arrest or surrender in the court below within four weeks from

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16752 of 2015 (2) dt.05-05-2015 2/2 today, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in Pipra P.S. Case No. 9 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
