JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 10-04-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioners and the State. The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 385 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 (I) (X) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
It is alleged that the FIR named accused persons including the petitioners came and demanded extortion of Rs.50,000/- and assaulted the labourers of the informant while the informant was getting the repair work of the pond conducted. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners' side earlier made complaint with regard to use of inferior materials in the repair work of the pond and the informant has subsequently retracted from his initial version and filed a
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14631 of 2015 (2) dt.10-04-2015 2/2 petition to that effect before the learned court below. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M., 1st Class, Madhubani in connection with Ladania P.S.
