The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a complaint case wherein process has been directed to be issued after cognizance being taken for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 379, 427, 354, 384, 307, 506, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act. It is alleged that the accused persons came in the field of the complainant threatened husband of the complainant and damaged wheat crop worth Rs.5,000/- through tractor. On protest being made the accused persons assaulted the husband of the complainant when the complaint came to rescue the accused persons tore her clothes and snatched silver chain and gold

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14669 of 2015 (2) dt.10-04-2015 2/2 earring and also demanded extortion of Rs.50,000/-. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that in the background of land dispute the accusation has been levelled and cousin of husband of complainant has also lodged Complaint Case No.4373 of 2014 in which the petitioner is a witness.

Considering the nature of accusation in the background land dispute between the parties, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Class, Purnea in connection with Complaint Case No.4372 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
