The petitioner, in this writ petition, sought relief for payment of death-cum- retiral benefits and arrears of salary of his father, who died on 05.12.2012 as Chowkidar in Sirdala block.

Counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the State. It is stated in paragraph 8 and 9 of the counter affidavit that all the death cum-retirement benefits, including the arrears of salary, from 1999 to 2002, on account of death of father of the petitioner, has already been paid to the petitioner. Patna High Court CWJC No.2564 of 2017(4) dt.18-05-2020 2/2 affidavit was filed on 21.12.2018 but no reply to the counter affidavit has been filed.

It appears that petitioner has already received the entire amount on account of death of his father, who was working as Chowkidar in Sirdala block, and now he has got no grievance.

Considering the facts aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of as has become infructuous. If the petitioner finds that any amount is still lying due the petitioner may file representation before the concerned authority who shall dispose of the same within three months from the date of receipt of such representation.
