The only issue on which the appointment has been set aside is that the petitioner was not an applicant to the post. There is nothing either on record of the writ proceedings to show that the petitioner ever applied or were called for counseling for the post of Panchayat teacher.

In such uncontested circumstances, the order impugned cannot be faulted. No cause for indulgence is made out. The writ petition is dismissed.
