Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 7.9.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.33050 of 2017 as there is recovery of 63 kg. of Ganja from the vehicle of the petitioner. The petitioner is a Driver. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that in the meantime, another co-accused Rajesh Kumar has been granted privilege of the anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 27.11.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.34778 of 2017, however it appears from perusal of that order that submission of the petitioner was that he is neither driver nor the owner of the vehicle, as such the petitioner was granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, he is in custody since long, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conduct it on regular basis so that it may be concluded within a reasonable period. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
