Today reply to the counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the petitioner wherein the petitioner has presented calculation chart provided by the office of G.P.F. Directorate. With reference to the calculation chart received from the office of G.P.F. Directorate, Mr. Sunil Kumar submits that approximately Rs. 3,00,000/- is still due against the G.P.F. amount of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the State submits that only the matter of
Patna High Court CWJC No.3524 of 2016 dt.01-11-2017 2/2 calculation is now in dispute for which the petitioner may approach the respondent no. 4. the Director, General Provident Fund who may be in a position to look into the calculation and issue appropriate order for payment of the balance amount, if any payable to the petitioner. In view of the limited controversy in the instant case, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Director, G.P.F. along with a copy of this order within a period of one month from today. The Director, G.P.F. is requested to look into the grievance of the petitioner as would be indicated in the representation to be filed by the petitioner and if he finds any error in the calculation, he will see that the mistakes is rectified and the lawful amount is paid to the petitioner at the earliest, preferably within a period of two months from the date of filing of representation.
