The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 341, 323, 337 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 37(c)(2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The prosecution case, in short, is that in the backdrop of land dispute, the petitioner is alleged to have entered into the house of the informant in drunken state and assaulted on his head.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 17-06-2019. The petitioner is alleged to have entered into house of the informant

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IInd-cum-Special Judge, Araria in connection with Araria P.S. Case No. 466 of 2019 corresponding to Special Case No. 767 of 2019.
