The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under sections 307, 354B, 342 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 8 and 12 of the POCSO Act. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have taken away the daughter of the informant and on some pretext left the said place. It is thereafter stated that two boys came, misbehaved with her and attempted to strangulate her. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner who is a 23 year old lady was rejected by order dated 22.2.2022 (Annexure-1) giving liberty to the petitioner to renew her prayer for bail after six months. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation, the liberty granted in the earlier order of rejection dated 22.2.2022 together with the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sasaram (M) P.S. Case no.200 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge VI-cum-Exclusive Special Court, POCSO, Rohtas at Sasaram.
