JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 06-11-2017 Inter alia contending that the security amount of Rs.92,830.00 deposited by the petitioner for grant of contract for selling foreigh liquor should be refunded to the petitioner, this writ petition has been filed.

In para 9 of the counter affidavit, it is stated by the respondents that on 29.1.2015 the petitioner was directed to submit the challan with regard to deposited amount to the competent authority and the petitioner having not deposited the challan, it is stated that the amount cannot be refunded.

Patna High Court CWJC No.3573 of 2016 dt.06-11-2017 2/2 Taking note of the averment made by the respondents, we direct that in case the petitioner files relevant documents and challan in support of the deposit made and complies with the requirement of the relevant document, the authority shall refund all the amount within sixty days from the date of receipt/production of the relevant documents along with a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid liberty, this application is disposed of.
