The affidavits filed do not shed any light on the issue for which response was sought earlier in previous directions. However, keeping in mind the period since when the appellant has retired and the period when the so-called benefit of Junior Selection Grade was granted, the verification with regard to extending the benefit thereof has not been able to be made so far.

The appeal stands disposed of with the above direction. The personal appearance of the District Magistrate, Kaimur stands dispensed with.
