The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, an interpolated certificate was submitted in court by an accused to take benefit of being a juvenile in the said case. The said certificate is stated to contain the signature of the petitioner in the capacity of Headmaster of the school. It transpired that the date of birth in the said certificate had been interpolated.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The petitioner is in no manner the beneficiary as a result of the alleged interpolation nor has he any concern with the accused

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62015 of 2021(2) dt.25-01-2022 2/2 who used this certificate in the case. The petitioner is in custody since 4.9.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Bihar P.S. Case no. 591 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif.
