The petitioner, husband of opposite party no. 2, apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case no.C-2339 of 2018 ( Trial No.3495 of 2018) registered for the offence under Sections 323, 406, 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Earlier, vide order dated 24.10.2019, the matter was sent to Mediation Centre for settlement of dispute between the parties and on perusal of Mediator's report dated 16.12.2019 (Flag 'B'), it appears that the dispute between the parties has been resolved on the basis of terms of settlement mutually agreed upon by both parties.
