JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 24-08-2023 By filing this writ application, the petitioners are seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari to quash Clause 5(i) of the Advertisement No. 26/2023 by which the cut-off date of 01.08.2023 instead of 01.08.2019 has been fixed. The petitioners further pray for a Mandamus directing the respondents to grant age relaxation to the petitioners so that they can make an application under Advertisement No. 26/2023 published by the Bihar Public Service Commission, Patna

2. Mr. Sanjay Pandey, learned counsel for the BPSC has informed that the last date for filling up the examination form was 22nd July, 2023, and today the examinations are being held.

3. In the aforesaid view of the matter, in the opinion of this Court, this writ application has become infructuous. However, the issue raised by the petitioner shall remain open for consideration if and when any such occasion arises. 4.

This writ application stands disposed of accordingly.
