The petitioner, being the husband of the informant, is apprehending his arrest in connection with Mahila (Banka) P.S. Case No.39 of 2014 (G.R. Case No.1231 of 2014) for allegedly having committed the offence under Sections 498A and other allied Sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Earlier, notices were issued to O.P. No.2, who after receiving the same has failed to appear before this Court. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that actually the lady in question is residing in the house of the

Considering the present facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Banka, in connection with Mahila (Banka) P.S. Case No.39 of 2014 (G.R. Case No.1231 of 2014), subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
