Patna High Court CWJC No.12097 of 2025(2) dt.28-07-2025 2/3 ORAL ORDER 28-07-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for the Zila Parishad, Bettiah and learned counsel for the Respondent-State.

2. With the consent of all the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at the present stage itself.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for seeking the reliefs as claimed for in the present writ application, the petitioners have already filed a representation dated 11.07.2025, before the Deputy Development Commissionercum-Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, West Champaran at Bettiah (Respondent No. 5) which continues to be pending. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if an appropriate direction could be issued to the Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, West Champaran at Bettiah (Respondent No. 5) to dispose of their representation on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

4. To this prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned counsels for the Respondents do not have any objection.

5. Considering the formal nature of prayer being made

Patna High Court CWJC No.12097 of 2025(2) dt.28-07-2025 3/3 by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this writ application is being disposed of directing the Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, West Champaran at Bettiah (Respondent No. 5) to dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 11.07.2025 (AnnexureP/4 to the writ application) on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, by passing a reasoned and speaking order. The entire exercise must be carried out within a period of four months from the date of production of a copy of this order by the petitioners.
