JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 01-09-2023 The present petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 26.4.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No.16562 of 2022 to the extent of extending the period of surrender. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner could not furnish the bail bonds on time since he was at Jharkhand and she was IVF pregnant and was taking regular treatment at Tata Main Hospital, Jamshedpur. Since, vide order dated 26.4.2022, the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail whereas, the present modification petition seeking extension of time was filed on 28.08.2023, the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58433 of 2023(2) dt.01-09-2023 2/2 petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs. 10,000/- before the concerned DLSA.
Accordingly, the period of surrender is extended further for a period of four weeks from today. The bail bonds of the petitioner will be accepted by the learned Court below on showing receipt of deposit of Rs. 10,000/- before the concerned D.L.S.A..
The order dated 26.4.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 16562 of 2022 stands modified to the extent as indicated above. Accordingly, the petition stands allowed.
