Srivastava, learned counsel, assisted by Sri Dharmendra Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Binod Kumar No. 3, learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

The sole petitioner , who is in custody since 23.6.2018 in connection with Special Case No. 191 of 2017 [arising out of Shahjahanpur P.S. Case No. 89 of 2017], registered for the offence under Section 354A of the Indian Penal Code , 1860 and Section 8 of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act, 2012, has prayed for grant of bail.

Sri B.N. Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner by way of referring to the F.I.R. submits that there is only accusation that petitioner caught hand of the daughter of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49880 of 2018(2) dt.20-08-2018 2/2 informant and also there is allegation of threatening. Besides hearing, I have perused the materials available on record and after going through the F.I.R. as well as period of custody, I am of the opinion that petitioner may remain in custody for some more period.

The prayer for bail stands rejected granting liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after completion of nine months of custody.
