2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Jagdishpur P.S. Case No. 117 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2022.

3. As per allegation, on a secret information, the informant along with other police party was on patrolling duty. Seeing the police party, the petitioner started fleeing away but was apprehended. On search, 360 liters of illicit liquor was recovered from the vehicle, to which the petitioner is driver.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54968 of 2024(2) dt.13-08-2024 2/2 this case. He is a person of clean antecedent. Nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession and he is under custody since 12.6.2024.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances as well as the clean antecedent, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to furnish bail bond after two months from today and on doing so, the court below shall release the petitioner on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge Excise Court No. II, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Jagdishpur P.S. Case No. 117 of 2024, subject to the following condition:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
