Having regard to the fact that the petitioner seeks privilege of anticipatory bail in relation to an offence under Section 302/34, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act and that the said case was lodged on 13.8.2006 and that the petitioner is a named accused in the First Information Report, this Court would not find him entitled for granting privilege of anticipatory bail after a period of almost nine years. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, namely, Ranjeet Yadav @ Hakim Yadav is rejected but then nothing said in this order shall come in the way of the petitioner in surrendering and making a prayer for regular bail which shall be considered on its own merit without being
