The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sirdala P.S. Case No. 364 of 2020, dated 11.09.2020, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

1000 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a canal and for that recovery, the petitioner is in custody since 05.07.2020.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner and taking into account that in two other cases in which he was made accused earlier, he has been granted bail, the petitioner, namely, Rajo Rajbanshi @ Raju Rajbanshi is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. District and Sessions Judge-II-Cum-Special Judge, Excise, Nawada in connection with Sirdala P.S. Case No. 364 of 2020.

The application stands allowed.
