The petitioner has filed this writ petition for quashing the order dated 07.03.2014 passed by the Superintending Engineer, Bhojpur Road Circle, Road Construction Department, Ara, as contained in Memo No. 303 by which the petitioner has been dismissed from service.

At the outset of the argument, learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has not filed statutory appeal before the competent authority against the order of dismissal. Considering the facts aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the appellate authority that if the petitioner files
