The petitioner filed this writ petition for quashing the order dated 16.3.2004 passed by the Superintendent of Police, Supaul as contained in Memo No. 585 passed in Departmental Proceeding No. 22 of 2002 whereby the petitioner was terminated from the services on account of unauthorized absence. The petitioner further prayed for quashing the order dated 22.09.2008 as contained in Memo No. 556 passed by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Koshi Range, Saharsa, by which the appeal of the petitioner was also dismissed. Thereafter, the petitioner preferred Memorials before the Director General of Police but the Memorials of the petitioner has also been dismissed vide order

Patna High Court CWJC No.6366 of 2014 (7) dt.11-082017 dated 13.6.2011.

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already superannuated from the services and he may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition so that he may pursue the matter before the competent authority.

Prayer is allowed.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
