JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 09-01-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner is languishing in custody in connection with Sonbarsa Raj P.S. Case No. 20 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 498A/304B/201/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is father-in-law and is in custody since 17.03.2016. The husband is already in custody. There is general and omnibus allegation of demand of dowry and torture, which is resulted in dowry death of Punita Devi, the daughter of the informant.

After hearing the parties and considering the period already undergone, the petitioner, above named, is directed

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30601 of 2016 (8) dt.09-01-2017 2/2 to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa/Successor Court, in connection with Sonbarsa Raj P.S. Case No.20 of 2016.
