In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Excise Case No. 68 of 2019 arising from P.R. No. 11 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under section 30(a) and 37 (b) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Act, 2016 (Amendment Act 2018).

It has been alleged that 382.680 litres of illegal liquor has been recovered from Bolero and Varamda of the house of petitioner. In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected.
