JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 15-10-2025 These cases are arising out of the same P.S. Case i.e., Baikunthpur P.S. Case No. 77 of 2025, therefore, they are being heard together and are being decided by a common order.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50479 of 2025(3) dt.15-10-2025 2/3 learned APP for the State and the learned counsel for the informant.
3. The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Baikunthpur P.S. Case No. 77 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 80 & 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
4. The petitioner Ranjan Kumar Sah is the husband of the deceased and the petitioners Dwarika Sah and Munni Devi are the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased. They are alleged to have killed the deceased due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the deceased had committed suicide which is apparent from the post-mortem report as no ante-mortem injury has been found on the body of the deceased. The petitioners are in custody since 03.03.2025.
6. Learned A.P.P. for the State and the learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
7. Considering the fact that no ante-mortem injury has been found on the body of the deceased and the period of custody, both these applications for regular bail are allowed.
8. Accordingly, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten
