2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Manigachi (Nehra O.P.) P.S. Case No. 15 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B) and 120(B) of the IPC.

3. The father of the deceased is the informant of this case. He lodged an FIR stating therein that his daughter Jamima Praween was married to the Imran Khan @ Salim on 15.05.2022. After marriage, the accused persons started inflicting atrocities on the deceased for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry of Rs. 5 lacs. On 19.01.2024, he got an information that his daughter was ill and his grand-daughter was

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55395 of 2024(2) dt.14-08-2024 2/3 crying. On that information, he rushed to the matrimonial house of his daughter and found her dead body. He noticed black mark on the neck of the deceased.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased, having no concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple. The petitioner is residing separately from husband of the deceased. She has falsely been implicated merely because she is mother of husband of the deceased. It has also been submitted that on 19.01.2024, the daughter of elder sister of the petitioner died and she was in their house on the day of occurrence. The petitioner is an old lady and she is under custody since 29.04.2024.

5. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner was at the spot at the time of occurrence and after the occurrence, she fled away from her house.

6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional
