2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No. 15 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per allegation, the petitioner along with other co-accused persons used to physically and mentally torture informant's daughter, Kanchan Kumari for dowry. On 10.12.2023, the informant's daughter died after pouring kerosene oil over her body and set herself into fire.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that it has been mentioned in the FIR itself that the deceased
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58323 of 2024(2) dt.21-08-2024 2/2 committed suicide in her maike after pouring kerosene oil from a kerosene lamp (dhibri). It also appears from perusal of the FIR that the husband of the deceased was threatening to solemnize second marriage. So far as the petitioner is concerned, she is mother-in-law of the deceased having no concern with day-today affairs of the couple. She has falsely been implicated merely because she is mother of the husband of the deceased. She is under custody since 19.03.2024.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class at Sherghati, Gaya in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No. 15 of 2024, subject to the following condition:- The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
