Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 420,467,468,472/34 of the IPC and u/s30(a),31,32,36,38,41 of the Bihar Prohibition of Excise Act 2018.

Prosecution case is that 1774.8 litres of foreign liquor was recovered from a Scropio and TATA 407 vehicle. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's name is figured in the case on the confessional statement of the co-accused. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he is no way connected with the aforesaid recovery.
