JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 08-12-2021 The present petition has been filed for modifying the order dated 31.5.2021 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 38504 of 2020 to the extent that the time granted for surrendering before the learned court below in order to avail the privilege of anticipatory bail, as granted by this Court, be extended by a further period of four weeks.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on account of the prevailing pandemic situation due to COVID 19, the petitioner could not surrender before the learned court below within the time fixed by this Court, hence, he be

Per contra, the learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the submissions made by the leaned counsel for the petitioner and taking into account the averments made in the present petition, I deem it fit and proper to grant four weeks' further time from today to the petitioner herein to surrender before the learned court of CJM, Supaul in connection with Supaul P.S.Case No. 382 of 2020.

Accordingly, the order dated 31.5.2021 stands modified to the aforesaid extent.

The present petition stands disposed of.
