The petitioners, namely, Abhimanyu Singh and Krishna Singh are in custody since 15.07.2016 in Kahalgaon N.T.P.C. P.S. Case No.6 of 2016 under Sections 341, 307, 386, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. According to the prosecution case, the petitioners and co-accused demanded Rangdari of Rs.2 lacs from the informant and when it was not given by the informant, they went away and on the same day, the petitioners and co-accused came with Scorpio and fired on the vehicle of the informant. It is stated that no injury has been caused to the informant.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35010 of 2016 (2) dt.20-08-2016 The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that one co-accused has already been granted regular bail by this Court which would be evident from the rejection order of the anticipatory bail of the petitioner, Annexure-1. In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, I direct that both the petitioners named above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in connection with Kahalgaon N.T.P.C.
