In this case, petitioners are seeking bail in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No. 160 of 2014 registered for offences under sections 304(B)/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation has been made, the victim-girl was married to Krishna Mahto and she under the conspiracy was put to death.

The counsel for the petitioners submits that the husband of the victim was put to trial and has been acquitted from the charges. He further submits that petitioner no. 1 is brother-inlaw and petitioner no. 2 is son of petitioner no. 1 Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27120 of 2016 (2) dt.15-07-2016 2/2 let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No. 160 of 2014.
