Mr. A.G ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 05-08-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks regular bail in Nokha Police Station Case No. 165 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under sections 307 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner inflicted multiple knife injuries on the body of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Injuries sustained by the informant have been found to be simple in nature by the doctor. Occurrence took place on 26.7.2020 but the FIR has been lodged on 16.8.2020 after delay of 21 days and there is no explanation of delay. Petitioner has got clean antecedent and he is in custody since 24.8.2020. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9575 of 2021(3) dt.05-08-2021 2/2 bail and submits that there is specific allegation against the petitioner that he caused six knife injuries on the body of the informant.

In view of the specific allegation against the petitioner that he gave multiple injuries on the body of the informant by knife which is a sharp cutting weapon, his prayer for bail is refused.
