1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to add The District Programme Officer, Establishment, Aurangabad as respondent No.9 during the course of the day.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was appointed as Panchayat Sikshak, but petitioner was not paid salary since April 2011, notwithstanding the fact that the petitioner is regularly working. In the matter of payment of salary, it shall be the obligation of the respondents authority

Patna High Court CWJC No.17114 of 2014(2) dt.03-08-2018 2/2 to verify the record to ascertain whether the appointment is legal and valid and whether the petitioner has actually worked for the period petitioner is claiming payment salary?

4. In view of the aforesaid the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent, District Programme Officer, Establishment, Aurangabad to verify the record and on satisfaction as to the validity of the appointment and fact that the petitioner has actually worked, he shall take step for ensuring payment of arrears of and current salary of the petitioner. Entire decision in this regard must be taken by the respondent within a maximum period of four months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid the writ petition stands disposed of.
