In this case, petitioners are seeking bail in connection with Sahpur P.S. Case No. 258 of 2013 registered for offence under section 304/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioners remain absconded for three years. Allegation has been made against the petitioners that they picked up a quarrel with the driver and thrown him on the road and at that time, one truck came and crushed the driver, as a result of which the victim died at the spot. This case is of the year 2013. As the petitioners remain absconded for three years, this Court at present is not inclined to grant bail to them.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27137 of 2016 (2) dt.15-07-2016 2/2 Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. However, liberty is given to the petitioners, they may renew their prayer for bail after completion of nine months of jail-custody. (Shivaji Pandey, J) Mahesh/- U T
