.... .... Respondent/s ====================================================== Appearance :

For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Ajay Kumar For the Respondent/s : Mr. Sc27- Kinkar Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL ORDER 20-04-2016 Heard Mr. A. K. Mishra for the petitioners and Mr. Kinkar Kumar, SC-27 for the State.

The petitioners raise a grievance with respect to the irregularity/illegality committed by the respondents in conducting the election of the Bihar Police Men's Association, Patna District Branch.

In spite of indulgence granted, the petitioners have not brought on record the Bihar Police Men's Association Election Rules, 2014 which could have indicated the forum before which any such election dispute can be raised. The Court is not inclined to issue any positive direction in the matter. Mr. Mishra states that the Association has been constituted under the direction of the State Government which has, however, been seriously disputed by the State respondent(s).

Patna High Court CWJC No.6387 of 2015 (6) dt.20-04-2016 3/3 The counsel for the petitioners states that the application be disposed of permitting the petitioners to raise a grievance with regard to illegality/irregularity committed in the conduct of the election of the Association before the appropriate/competent authority of the State Government for consideration and disposal in accordance with law.

Without opining any view on the merit of the claim of the petitioners, the application stands disposed of permitting the petitioners to raise a grievance by filing a representation before the competent/appropriate authority of the State Government for consideration and disposal in accordance with law.
