====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MIHIR KUMAR JHA ORAL JUDGMENT 23-04-2015 No one appears for the petitioner. Learned counsel for the respondents is present and having filed a counter affidavit has sought to explain that part of the retirement benefit has already been paid to the petitioner and now only the authorization of the pension as also payment of provident fund is awaited.
2. In this regard, learned counsel for the State has explained that pension paper of the petitioner for being authorized has already been sent to the office of the Accountant General on 17.01.2015 and that even for making payment of the amount of provident fund, bill has been sent to the Treasury.
3. That being so, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority of the office of the
Patna High Court CWJC No.2968 of 2015 (3) dt.23-04-2015 2/2 Accountant General to ensure that the authorization of the pension and Gratuity of the petitioner as also commutation (if prayed for) if not authorized by now, must be done so within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. Similar direction is also issued to the Treasury Officer to ensure that the payment of amount covered by the bill for G.P.F. should also be paid to the petitioner, if not already paid now, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
